Bard On The Beach
2020 Season
presenting William Shakespeare's
2020 & 2021 have been tough years for many across the country and Bard On The Beach has not been immune.
Time is ripe for change and so we have made the nerve-wracking but exciting decision for a treechange relocation for our family to regional NSW.
This is not goodbye forever!
We hope, once settled, to continue to bring to life great classic works for audiences in our regional areas.
Over ten years, we have performed 100's of shows, to 1000’s of people, at some of Sydney’s most iconic locations.
We thank the communities and councils for their hearty support and applause.
We thank the cast and crews that have worked tirelessly over the past decade with the aim of bringing quality theatre to audiences, as they picnic under the stars.
Bard On The Beach will hang up its sandy towel for a while, but...
a travelling bard production
will soon begin its meander across the landscape.
Thank you.
And in Shakespeare’s immortal words,
quite literally,
“Parting is such sweet sorrow….”
